OceanCare and Tethys started a dolphin research project

Early October launched a new OceanCare and Tethys dolphin research project in Greece and indeed in the Gulf of Evia.Unser local team – Giovanni Bearzi and Silvia Bonizzoni – on the first research day but no dolphins sighted, but one of the rare monk seals. No import of seal products in Switzerland: Petition launched!

OceanCare and the Fondation Franz Weber, launching a petition today with a renewed appeal to the Swiss Parliament, import and transit of all seal products from commercial seal hunt verbieten.Die EU has adopted such a ban a year ago and 20 August 2010 brought into force. Was as cool as today there has never been this month. Rain and wind make clear already at 6.30 clock that will take place today, hardly a hunt. Nevertheless, we go over to Taiji, to be sure. The bay is empty and all the hunting boats, visible to the typical noise bars, moored in the harbor.The day will be calm and we use it to drive about 15 kilometers away from Shingu, the next bigger town. Dolphins from Japan in Egypt

Egyptian resort of Hurghada and divers paradise on the Red Sea are taken for 30 days four Bottlenose dolphins from Japan and will spend 105 days quarantine as prescribed under these conditions unworthy attitude.
