After several days of problem with our satellite connection on board, it is on again and I'm able to write to you again.We are now on our 5th day in our journey and making good way towards Tahiti. We keep with the manta trawl sampling every 50 miles, and in between we use the high-speed trawl.

On Saturday evening at 20.00 clock Hans Peter Roth talks about his latest trip he has undertaken with the support of OceanCare to Japan. He has just returned from Taiji, southern Japan, where year after year, still hundreds of dolphins are slaughtered.It was the most disturbing, but also hopeful trip the author of “The Cove”, the use of OceanCare resulting film of the same book.

Taiji Update No. 16: Re-porpoise

Taiji Update # 11 – dry season

Biodiversity agreements (CBD) is to recognize underwater noise as a threat to marine animals

From 18 – 29 October 2010 in Nagoya, Japan represented the tenth Conference of the Parties to the biodiversity convention site. Day Book (t) – Entry 21

The first fatal hunting are early today in the bay of the first Taiji dolphins have been killed.
